Attending activities is the best way to improve your conversation skills and advance your English outside of the classroom.
Our activity program is also designed with all budgets in mind. Many of CLLC’s activities, like city tours, soccer clubs, and beach days are free of charge. Some, like Coffee and Conversation, are only about $10. Events such as boat trips and sporting events are priced between $20 and $50 and our weekend trips range between $75 – $250.

1000 Activities a Year
At CLLC, learning takes place in the classroom and through a number of awesome daily social activities. It’s all about building your confidence, meeting new friends, and spending time with your peers in a relaxed atmosphere.
CLLC’s Activity Team plans 5-7 activities per week for you. Between CLLC Halifax, CLLC Ottawa and CLLC Toronto, our team organize a total of 1000 activities a year, with an average of 300 activities per campus. We have daily activities regardless of the season. There is a fantastic mix of day, evening, and weekend trips that will keep you busy and using your English outside of the classroom.

Weekly Activity Schedule
The schedule is simple. There is an activity that takes place at the end of every day. So once you’re done with classes you can go and enjoy!
Here's what a typical week looks like:
Monday
Enjoy CLLC’s famous Coffee & Conversation activity and meet new students who just arrived in Canada. It’s the perfect activity to make new friends and practice your English at a very low cost.
Tuesday
Do you appreciate museums, art galleries, or watching a movie with your CLLC friends? This is your chance to soak in the culture.
Wednesday
This is your free activity of the week where you can play sports with your friends and show them your talents on the court, the pitch or the diamond.
Thursday
Regardless of how long you have been in your city, there is always something new to discover. It could be a mall, a park, aquarium or even a zoo.
Friday
Let’s go big! With a bigger budget than the other days, imagine yourself joining us on a safari, water park, race track or even a paintball course.
Weekend
Your weekends at CLLC may include trips to nearby cities, camping, safari, and seasonal events. Weekend trips range from $75 – $250. It is our goal that each student enjoys an unforgettable experience that will last for a lifetime.
