Halifax Public School Parents’ Program (PSPP)
CLLC offers the Public School Parents Program (PSPP) to parents/guardians of children studying in Halifax, Nova Scotia, public schools. This allows parents/guardians the chance to study fulltime, while also supporting their children to study in Halifax public schools.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) was created on April 1, 2018. As an entity, the HRCE operates English public schools throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality. Serving more than 53,000 children and students in 135 schools, the HRCE is the largest school system in Atlantic Canada. The HRCE’s vision is to provide a high-quality education to every student every day. CLLC’s Public School Parents’ Program (PSPP) is designed for parents/guardians studying in the Intensive Program who have children studying in public school in Halifax. PSPP helps parents learn the everyday English they need to thrive in Canadian society. Vacation times are offered that accommodate a public school student’s schedule.

• This program is offered for CLLC Halifax ON-SITE students.
• Courses start on Mondays, except last Monday of the year.
• School is closed on National Holidays. For example, if Monday is a holiday the school will open on Tuesday.
• Friday Plus One is replaced with a weekly Graduation Ceremony.
• Class times may differ due to campus enrolment and other needs.
• PSPP students must apply for a minimum number of weeks. Please consult CLLC Admissions for PSPP full pricing and discounts.
